I have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with Dr. Marson on several occasions in her clinic and have witnessed the passion for caring she exhibits when with her patients and families. She embodies the ICARE principles(Integrity, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect Excellence) through her compassion, commitment, and dedication in providing quality care to the veterans. She is very professional, honest and has strong moral principles that translate through her interaction with her patients and families. She always gives 100 percent regardless of the situation. She is approachable and makes herself available to the patients and their families and is always willing to listen to their concerns or complaints. She is committed to providing excellent service in all that she does and is an example to others. Dr. Marson is truly an advocate for the veterans and their families; I have witnessed her interacting with the veterans and being a voice for some when they could not articulate their concerns and needs. Not only does she embody the ICARE principles through her work ethics and dedication but she does it with integrity by respecting all those she may encounter regardless of who you are or what background you come from. I am thankful for all she has done to assist me as a spouse of a veteran. She consistently demonstrates the ICARE principles and is an ambassador in my eyes for the Detroit VA Hospital.
