Listened carefully to me about my skin sensitivity and previous difficulty getting an IV inserted. The nurse used cotton to cushion my skin for all of the procedures (blood pressure) that could harm my skin and made it so comfortable for me. Went to great lengths to make sure the IV was successfully inserted the first time, including using a vein scanner, warming my arm, letting the blood flow into my hands, asking for a second set of eyes on the vein, etc… It was the best pre-surgical experience I have ever had. In addition, the nurse explained every single thing that was going to happen to me in specific and easy to understand language. They expressed so much care and concern for me all at 715 am!! She is an amazing caregiver; I am reconsidering having my hip surgery done at Wildwood instead of at another facility because my experience with her and the facility was so much better. I will ask for this nurse whenever I have work done at Wildwood. The nurse is wonderful!!
