... We had a patient in the ED that had a cup from home which was caked with dirt and mold. The patient was older and didn't really take care of himself as evidenced by his poor hygienic skills with his drinking cup. Ben went and searched out a brand new cup and exchanged it for the cup the patient had. He even filled it with fresh ice water. The amazing thing is that it wasn't even his patient. He heard staff talking about how gross the cup was and he went and did something kind about it. He is definitely a good nurse and a good man.
