A life-long learner, Dr. Benissa Salem joined the UCLA School of Nursing in 2014 and continues to study how to teach modern learners. She enrolls in on-campus offerings and works to upgrade her courses for maximal effectiveness with technological tools. Teaching in some of the earliest courses on social justice and ethics to prelicensure students, she is praised for being organized and scaffolding competency from early concepts to a more advanced demonstration.
