I was experiencing a mental health crisis and did not have a way to get home. I understand compassion fatigue, but I felt that my prior nurse was very dismissive of my needs and immediately gave up on me. If Ben had not checked on me, I don't even know if I would have made it home alive/safe. He arranged a ride and made me feel seen and heard. My family/friends were extremely worried about me and are also grateful that this wonderful person stepped in and saw I needed help. Thank you, Ben!
