Always willing to go the extra mile even when it isn’t his patient. Yesterday he helped me for 30+ minutes even after he had clocked out. He always puts forth the extra mile with everything he does!

I was trying to transfer a patient on a specialty bed and we were having difficulty making it fit on the elevator. Ben saw us struggling and came to help. Long story short, he stayed with us for about 20 minutes fixing this bed, and he called the help desk for the bed too. We didn’t ask for help but he saw a need and didn’t hesitate to step in and help.

Ben goes above and beyond, even when he is not asked. He is not only patient with his patients, but he takes time to help each nurse as well. He recently stayed to help with care for a patient that was no longer his. He called anesthesia to increase the pain pump for this particular patient. He is a fantastic nurse and always goes the extra mile.
