I came to Natividad after a traumatic car accident, leaving me with a fractured pelvis – the very first person to help me feel confident enough to stand on my own was Benjamin. His demeanor comforted me through much of my pain. One of the first times I attempted to stand, he talked to me calmly through the whole process, tensing my core, engaging my arms, and breathing through the pain. There was one moment I was dripping beads of sweat down my forehead from how taxing rehab was, and Benjamin brushed all the hair out of my face, looked me in the eyes, and told me I had this in the bag, that I was capable of pushing through that pain. During my time with Benjamin as my RN, he instilled so much confidence in me that I’m convinced I would not have progressed this far in rehab without it. Benjamin is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable individual, and I’m grateful to have had him as my RN. I’m excited for him as a new grad. I know his career will take off.
