My 92-year-old grandma had Benjamin Sederquist as her nurse. Not only did he take his time to speak LOUDLY and clearly to "Nonnie" because she is very hard of hearing, but Ben had no problem repeating himself a few times. Nonnie was also very anxious about staying, which made me very anxious about leaving. Ben made me feel very comfortable and at ease that he would truly watch her and care for her as his own, and said I could call and talk to him anytime. Nonnie's veins are small and, with all the labs, were worn out. Ben noticed her IV had blown and right away carefully took off all the tape and took the needle out, gently cleaned up her site, and then very, very slowly started another IV, all while explaining, being so gentle, kind, and putting us all at ease. We could all have been so lucky to have had Ben as our nurse for Nonnie's entire stay. He was GREAT all the way around. Emanuel is lucky to have Ben, and we were lucky, too!

Thank you, Benjamin, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
