There was a patient that had been admitted who had a stroke while he was visiting Branson. He was in his 70’s, and was being discharged but was having ambulation and vision issues. He only had his autistic son with him and neither one of them could make it safely home - three hours north of here. When Benjamin W. Kiracofe found out, he called his own son to help. They safely got this family and their car back home. Ben got home after midnight and then got up the next day to do his teaching job with his students. Ben is always thoughtful of others and willing to help our patients in need.
