Nomination Story#1
Benoit has a strong presence on the floor, acting as a hands-on leader. He goes above and beyond to support his staff. He goes from toileting patients to drawing their blood. He also supplies the staff with the unit’s favorite coffee creamer. We are so blessed to have him as a manager. Whenever Benoit walks through the door, there is an immediate sense of comfort and relief that he provides a testament of how a great leader should be and how great of a manager he is.
Nomination Story#2
For over 20 years I have seen Ben rise from a novice nurse to an exemplary assistant nurse manager, his career. Ben has worked tirelessly to update his knowledge and has also been an excellent teacher to his junior nurses. He is the most compassionate nurse I know. He goes out of his way to help his staff and goes above and beyond his duties to make sure that overall patient & staff safety and satisfaction are met
Nomination Story#3
He is not only a great leader but an excellent team player that is always willing to lend a helping hand. Working with Ben always makes me feel safe and protected because I know that he is always there for any assistance or questions that our staff has. I was once caring for a patient that needed to be transferred to the ICU but while going back and forth with the MD, Ben assisted me in escalating the situation. Within an hour the senior resident of the ICU came to the bedside and agreed that the patient needed to be transferred to the ICU. Ben is also humble enough to answer call bells, assist with patient care, and even converse with patients. He always tries to lift the spirit of those around him
