I came in to be induced for labor and ended up being in L&D for 4 days. During my stay, I asked if I could get up and walk around to try to get my labor along. As I went for a walk and Bernadette came up to me and said jokingly she was going to give me a speeding ticket. She said I needed to slow down. She and I enjoyed a laugh and she later brought that promised speeding ticket to my room. The next night I had the pleasure of her being my nurse and she took such great care of me and my baby. Anything and everything we needed she did. Three days after being discharged I was readmitted for pre-eclampsia. She found out that I was readmitted and came to see me when she came on shift. She said she was sad to see me back and we talked for a few minutes and went on about our night. Bernadette was so sweet and provided exceptional care. She made me feel welcomed and at home when I was feeling my worst. Thank you!
