On behalf of myself, my sister, and my family, I write to express our heartfelt appreciation and recognition for one of your outstanding nurses, Bernadette. Following my surgery in April, I was attended by one of the best nurses, who surprised both myself and my family. 

I had noticed that there were numerous messages on the wall of Northridge Hospital that stated humankindness and Bernadette exemplifies a true form of humankindness. She was patient, compassionate, and very caring. There are many reasons individuals go into the nursing field, and I can confidently say that Bern came to the medical field because she cares and wants to make an impact in the lives of every patient she encounters. She embodies the highest standards of nursing excellence. She consistently demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and dedication to patient care. Her ability to connect with patients and families created a positive and supportive environment, fostering trust and confidence that I was in good hands. In addition, although I was not her patient the following day, she still came to check on me and even assisted the other nurse with my IV removal and paperwork. That alone was overwhelming and touching. 

I know that I can confidently refer family and friends to Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
