Bernadette was nominated by two of her RN colleagues on the Telemetry Unit. This is their nomination:

Neither of us work on the same shift (nights) as Bernadette but we follow her on 7-3. Numerous times the patients can't say enough about the care she provides. They mention that she sits and takes the time to talk with them, offers them backrubs, and goes above and beyond to help however she can. She crys and laughs with them. She has so many years of experience and wisdom. She always has a smile on her face when we come on shift. Even if it was a terrible night she will find the positive in it. We're sure all the nurses she works with on the 11-7 shift would agree!
