Bernie really had an impact on me. My husband has had health issues for many years and Bernie was the best nurse I have ever met. My husband required an amputation and Bernie was there not only for my husband but for me too. She gave us both lengthy explanations of what was happening, what to expect and supported us emotionally. She will be forever in my heart.
