January 2019 Honoree
beryl tippins, RN
A homeless patient was admitted to 2E with dirty clothes. The patient was unkempt, Beryl shaved his beard and cut his hair with the patient's permission. Hygiene was important. She brought several clothes and gave them to the patient which I think is going above and beyond. Keeping the patient clean and neat made him look very different from the day he was admitted. He's a brand new man!
Thank you, Beryl, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
