Bessie Dunn was our night nurse. I was upset and worried the first couple of nights about my son’s condition and about covering the costs for our daughter and pets to be taken care of at home. Bessie was very attentive and brought me comfort items. She sat and talked with me and checked on me as well as my son. He was continuously throwing up, amongst other things. She was there whenever we needed her. She was so caring and attentive. One of the best nurses I’ve seen. She talked to my son about Pokémon and his other interests, and connected with him. She explained to him procedures and calmed him when I couldn’t. She was on time with his medications, and you could see the care in everything she did. She showed the genuine love and pride of being a nurse. If we ever have to come here again (God forbid), I hope we get her again. Bessie went above and beyond for us. I will always remember her.
