The Allegiance Health Best Fed Team was selected to be one of nine hospitals in Michigan to participate in the Best Fed Beginnings initiative to improve their maternity care services in pursuit of the "Baby Friendly" designation. In July of 2015, the department of WCS's received "Baby Friendly Designation".
