We came to the hospital for what was supposed to be normal flu but we ended up in PICU immediately. My daughter has Trisomy 18 and she got problems that really affected her oxygen saturation. So far we finished 9 days in PICU. Besty was with us on the day of admission and a couple of other days when she had shifts. She made our stay much easier by being gentle and caring. Suction which was required many times per day was done by her gently and without any injury or bleeding. 9th day she removed the rest of the secretion and made the chest of my daughter clear. During our nights she mindfully managed all the alarms in the room so I and my daughter could get much-needed rest. Kind and caring attitudes really help me and my daughter to go through difficult times.
