Beth immediately relieved my husband's anxiety with her extreme level of compassion, quick decisiveness when problems presented themselves and her immediate attention to his particular needs. She possesses a quality of sincerity and warmth that is vital to the patient under a nurse's care.
Beth was always consistent in her professionalism while at the same time making my husband feel as though he was special. Her pleasant nurturing abilities interwoven with her exceptional nursing skills are deserving of this accolade. It should be taken into consideration that Beth also took personal time while not on duty to visit my husband while he was in intensive care. Very commendable in our opinion.
Due to her special caring, she enabled my husband to draw on this inner strength to battle an abnormal amount of pain, caused not only by his double bypass surgery, but also by a total knee replacement surgery two weeks prior to his open heart surgery, and conquer the skills necessary to rehabilitate. She encouraged him to visit with her in a few months so she could witness his progress.
