Beth called me every day, many days several times daily.
My husband was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital after being released just the day before from SAR. He was an 80-year-old man who suffered a stroke and had been moved from stroke care to physical rehab where he contracted Covid. From that facility, he went to Covid rehab. There he suffered a GI bleed and a heart rhythm problem and was transported to mercy twice to address those issues. From Covid rehab to SAR again for physical rehab therapy; this all happened over a period of 7 weeks. He left rehab unable to walk and wearing a diaper.

Over the 7 weeks he had lost 50+ pounds and in my humble opinion also had no will to live. He was severely dehydrated and weak. When he arrived back at Mercy where he was originally treated for the stroke we were fortunate enough to be put in touch with Beth. I begged her to help us and find a way to keep him at Mercy where we knew he would have the care he deserved. She did just that. He passed away 8 days later in a quiet area with people who cared for him. I was able to see him before he passed. Beth called me every day, many days several times daily. I know the truth about my husband and what was being done for him. I knew when to be ready for what was going to happen. Beth did a kind loving caring job for our family; without her, I shudder to think where he may have spent his last moments. There was a reason god sent my husband back to Mercy, to meet his angel Beth.
