My husband had bilateral hernia surgery on a cold, snowy, blustery day. Our ride home was across the river in Hannibal leaving us with no way home or anywhere to go. My husband and I are in our 70’s. Beth saw our worry and concern and went WAY beyond any expectation for us. This beautiful nurse arranged for us to stay at the Hospitality House, had security drive us there, waiting with us until her arrival. Before being discharged, Beth also made sure I had enough pain medication as we were unable to pick it up at a pharmacy. Then on this awful night after her shift on her way home, she brought dinner.  She was our angel.
