Beth exemplifies what it means to be a leader for a very busy unit that has multiple flexible needs. On more than one occasion (most nights she works, as a matter of fact!) she has worked as a charge nurse under extreme conditions, including taking 10-14 ER admits with minimal staffing and leads the team to do more than what they think they are capable of. For instance, on a busy Monday night, Beth pushed the unit to take 14 admissions! The supervisor that night stated - "they pushed the GOLD standard," with Beth as their leader. For this, I believe she exemplifies a DAISY Nurse!
