She is an advocate, a leader, a saver of lives, a process expert, and a compassionate provider. She is a challenger of the status quo and a visionary for greatness.
We could spend forever talking about Beth’s countless accomplishments in nursing. From her days as a project manager, the countless patients she has impacted as a Women’s Health NP, and her current role as a leader of people, she has truly had such a positive impact on the nursing profession. Beth has spent her career committed to improving the health of moms and babies across the state of Indiana. She has countless publications and national presentations of the work she has led, which has certainly saved lives and positively impacted patients all across the country.
Beth is respected as a state and national leader in women’s health. She currently serves as the President-elect of the ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN'S HEALTH, OBSTETRIC, AND NEONATAL NURSING. Beth has spent the last several years of her career improving our patients and maternal health units in Delaware County. She has spearheaded the opening of a brand-new unit, hired and mentored countless staff members, and has led us through initiatives such as the Golden Hour for neonates, which has allowed us to improve the health of our direct community.
I could go on and on about Beth’s resume and all the contributions to nursing professionalism that Beth has made. But what I really want you to know about Beth is that she is a TRUE representation of the very best of what nursing has to offer. She is an advocate, a leader, a saver of lives, a process expert, and a compassionate provider. She is a challenger of the status quo and a visionary for greatness. We have had the privilege of watching her put these skills to work over the last few years and we are blessed and a better organization because of the work Beth has done here.
Beth, we will miss you for all that you bring to the table. We will miss you for the fun energy you bring to our team. While we know your work in nursing isn’t completely finished and likely never will be, we are excited for you to turn the page and spend some of that time and energy with your family and those you love most. Thank you for your contributions to the practice of medicine and for the countless lives you have impacted. We are so very grateful to have crossed paths with you.
