Seventeen years ago, I was introduced to chemo and Nurse Beth. I knew that knowing Beth my fears of chemo and cancer would be reduced and thankfully they were. She always greeted me with such warmth and caring. It was definitely displayed by her attentiveness that she picked the right profession and the right aspect of this wonderful profession. Since that first meeting, 17 years ago she hasn't changed. She even came to my house so I didn't miss my medical injection when I was unable to come to the office to receive it.
Beth definitely deserves recognition for her caring but I am positive that she would behave in this manner without any specific merit. I am so glad that I was cared for by her, I will always be grateful for my dear friend, Nurse Beth.
