Beth was taking care of a patient who became anxious and overwhelmed during the night. She had recently learned her cancer had not only returned but had also spread. Beth took the time to get the patient out of her room and took her to the courtyard in the middle of the night to help calm the patient. This ended up being the last week of this patient's life.
