Beth Thorpe, RN was my friend's nurse on several occasions during these many days where my friend lay in CCU depending on drugs and machines to fight for her life. Staff in the CCU were great. Beth went above and beyond in caring for my friend with confidence, knowledge and compassion.
Beth, like many critical care nurses, is a realist but knows just how to balance a stressful situation requiring critical thinking skills and quick response time while still providing timely updates on my friends' condition and compassion to her family without providing false hope.
