Beth Will, RN

Beth made a difference not only in the patient's last day of life but also in the life of her daughter. The patient decided that she was ready to change her code status to comfort care and stated it was her wish to have pizza and chocolate prior to removing oxygen. Beth provided her with her wishes, and they made a big impact. I sat with the daughter throughout the night, and the daughter expressed her gratitude to Beth. I would like for Beth to be recognized for not only her great nursing care but also the compassionate care she provided. This act of kindness provided so much comfort at a time when it was most needed.
