Bethani Vance, RN

Bethani displayed exceptional nursing and compassion towards a shared patient of ours. On the last day of this patient’s stay, she had a heavy patient load and was still maintaining the quality of care needed for this patient. The patient was of higher acuity, and she spent a lot of time listening to the family’s concerns.

After a difficult conversation with physicians regarding patient goals, Bethani assisted in continuing education with the family and the decision to provide comfort measures. She also stayed after change of shift to ensure that continuity of care was maintained. This allowed for the patient to receive her undivided attention and ensured comfort for both the patient and family until the patient passed away several hours later.
