Bethany Barry, RN

“Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And just like everything else, through hard work” … these were the immortal words of Coach Vince Lomabardi. It has been our great privilege to honor one of our most decorated nurses here at Los Angeles Community Hospital. She has risen through the ranks in only a couple of years and through hard work and dedication, she has become one of our leaders in Med-Surg/Telemetry. In spite of her accomplishments, she continues to be a shining example of commitment to excellence and learning, courage in adversity, and steadfast compassion… truly everything we would want to see in a LACH nurse and in ourselves. She has earned the respect and admiration of her peers and superiors as both a clinician and a leader. It is our great honor to bestow the DAISY Award to our esteemed colleague… Bethany Barry.
