Bethany Bletterman, RN

Our daughter, J, came into the ED on Thursday morning for a suicide attempt. She was transferred on Friday and discharged on Sunday. Bethany was her nurse for 3 day shifts, and not only did an excellent job of caring for J, but was instrumental in keeping everyone safe. There was a meltdown event that required security to stand by. Bethany talked to J and de-escalated the situation, which prevented restraints. Even when J spoke very rudely to Bethany, she handled it like a pro. We thank Bethany for her excellent action in doing a sometimes very difficult job. Thank you!
