I would like to bring to your attention the outstanding efforts made by the nursing staff, CNAs, and dietary office at Renown South Meadows. Most specifically the efforts made by the Charge nurse Bethany Hernandez. When Bethany found out that it was one of our long-term stay patient's birthdays, she went out of her way to make sure he would have a very memorable birthday. With Bethany's imagination and guidance, we were able to bring to fruition a surprise birthday party for M filled with smiling faces, music, and homemade birthday decorations. There were balloons, streamers, and even a birthday dessert. Professional party throwers could not have done any better. The smile on M's face was one of pure joy and happiness. Thank you for coming in on your day off to help set up for the Nurse's Day event at South Meadows. You did an amazing job and really went above and beyond.
