Excellence and Respect - Bethany consistently goes above and beyond as a Resource Staff and caring for our vulnerable patients and their families. Recently, a visitor kept asking for water from our staff members. After giving several glasses of water it was discovered that the visitor had been in the emergency room two days prior and she was diagnosed with Diabetes. She never filled her prescriptions and had not checked her blood sugar. Bethany suggested connecting the visitor with the West Alondra Pharmacy Staff which is our in-house discharge medication pharmacy group. West Alondra Pharmacy was able to assist the visitor in an impactful way. Bethany understands that we don't only care for our patients, but for everyone who walks through the doors of Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital.
