I would like to recognize Bethany. She is a very sweet young woman who really cares for her patients. From the moment she first introduces herself with that huge smile, you just know that this nurse will try everything to make you as comfortable as possible. Sometimes for us as patients, there is no magic answer to us becoming immediately relieved of our pain. But after Bethany has come up with every possible medical answer to achieve our pain-free existence (less discomfort) she will offer other alternatives, such as ice, heat, something to drink or eat. Whether Bethany is working with a kind reasonable patient or a challenging one, her kind responses do not change, nor does her effort to help all of them equally. Valley Hospital is lucky to have her!
