We had a patient who was having a psychotic episode of paranoia and anxiety. Bethany was in charge and took the time to sit with the patient for two hours. She developed a rapport with him and was able to get him to talk about what was going on and how he was feeling. She was able to build trust with the patient so he was willing to take his medications and felt much calmer. She was very caring and did a very good job in assessing and caring for his psychiatric issues when his assigned staff was busy caring for other patients.
