Betsi is a leader in our department. Her positive attitude is contagious. She is always willing to stop what she is doing to help a fellow nurse with their patient. She will go to any floor or any unit to help. She never complains or makes you feel stupid when you ask for help(even if she showed you just last week). She is 100% dedicated to giving the patient the best experience possible. Betsi has experienced tragedy in her own life with her home burning down and personal health issues. Despite her personal problems Betsi delivers exceptional care every time. This is proven by the constant stream of cards and goodies we all receive as a thank you for exceptional care. The card is often signed "thanks all, especially, Betsi". I believe that if these patients and their families knew about the award they would be filling out this form themselves. I thank Betsi for all that she does. She is truly an exceptional lady.
