Betsy demonstrates passion and commitment every day here at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She has been our sepsis champion and is directly responsible for saving lives through her leadership, clinical expertise, and peer coaching. Secondary to her leadership efforts, Piedmont Fayette leads the system in decreasing sepsis mortality through evidence-based recognition, treatment, and surveillance. It takes a team to impact care and outcomes, but it takes a visionary, passionate leader to inspire a team, and that is Betsy. She is making a positive difference in the lives of our patients, families, staff, and community, which we serve. She is unique in her pursuit of excellence.
