I wish you could see what I am seeing right now. Betsy is on her lunch break in room 10 in the ED, in the behavior health room, on the floor, coloring and singing "Frozen" with the patient. This patient has been in the ED for 170 hours, she is special needs and in a very difficult situation. Betsy has built a bond with this 14-year-old and is using her own lunch break to sing, laugh, and make the patient feel like a 14-year-old should, loved. Betsy is an amazing nurse that has a huge heart and a great leader. Betsy is a true DAISY Nurse. My only suggestion to Betsy is that she should take some singing lessons!
