I had to undergo surgery to repair a detached retina. I was out of work for 2 weeks, and then returned with limited duties. I was unable to start IVs due to the lack of vision and depth perception. My colleague, Bettielou Small, stepped in and started all of my IVs for me. Bettielou demonstrates and practices Novant core values every day. She is always willing to help fellow team members in any way possible. She is always pleasant and makes ADA a great place to work.
