Betty provided exceptional care for my grandmother. Despite the circumstances, she showed so much compassion and kindness.
We arrived at the ED by ambulance at around 3:00 am and were exhausted. She noticed and brought us recliners, pillows, and blankets. She would constantly keep us updated, and with the little Spanish she knew, she would joke around with my grandmother and kept a smile on her face.
After about 8 hours of figuring out the situation with hospice, we were finally able to find a room due to her determination. Betty is an inspiration to the kind of nursing in the future. I believe she deserves this award.
Once again, I want to thank her for the care she provided for my grandmother through one of her hardest moments. Thank you!
