Bev Wilde is one of the most understanding nurses I've ever met. I've worked with Bev for ten years and have seen her show kindness, concern, and compassion to her patients, time and time again. Seventeen years ago, while a student nurse on the med/surg floor, I observed Bev and was impressed with how she cared for her patients.
Bev distinguished herself from the other nurses with her diligence and the time and effort she put into caring for her patients. Bev is now the charge nurse for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab. While she is assisting patients in regard to their medications, appointments, exercising them or teaching them about heart disease, Bev is always giving her best to her patients. She is a wonderful nurse, but also and outstanding teacher and encourager at heart. She lifts up her patients with her words, actions and the kindness she shows them. She helps patients enjoy exercise by making rehab a fun place to be!
In addition to her qualities as a nurse, Bev is respected and loved by the staff of Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab. I count it a privilege to work alongside Bev and learn from her. She is committed to her patients, our department and TRMC.
