Bev Tann is always knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and organized. It's obvious she likes her work and the people she works with, both staff and patients. We always feel welcomed by her presence. I know that every family has a story to tell and struggles they deal with in coming to see specialists and therapists and RIC/SRAL, and our family is one of them. She has never made me feel that my stress was an inconvenience or a problem and she has, in fact, been instrumental in alleviating a lot of my concerns since we live 2 hours south of Chicago and travel up to SRALab for various reasons.
It has been difficult negotiating Medicaid at 2 different hospitals in terms of our daughter's treatment plan. Additionally, we moved to Illinois from Texas, where her treatment plan was very different. The last 5 years have seen a lot of tests and therapies recommended to our daughter, all of which were difficult to manage logistically, and Bev was always key in making the process a lot smoother and efficient. She is a fantastic nurse and I know that SRALab has only benefitted from her service. Many of my experiences with her have involved leaving voicemails. She is always consistent in calling me back within 24 hours or within a reasonable amount of time and devotes her full attention to whatever problem I've needed help in solving. Her manner with my daughter is fun, gentle, and kind. Bev always has a funny remark for our daughter and is good at putting all of us at ease. She really understands and is willing to take the time where she doesn't. Thank you!
