My wife had a swelling of her tongue that made it hard to breathe, and her speech was so slurred that I couldn't make out what she was saying. We got in the car and rushed the 4 miles to the hospital to find the entrance to the emergency blocked by a 50 ft. truck that had snagged on an overhead power line, dropping live electrical wires on the pavement. I drove around the back entrance and spotted a pretty lady getting into her, no doubt hot car. I rolled down my window and called to her. Instead of getting in her car and turning on the AC, she stopped, walked over to our car, and asked if she could help us. Remember, it is about 4 PM and very hot. I was so relieved that someone was willing to help, after the growling response I had gotten from the police up at the main entrance. The sweet lady said follow me and walked up the road and found an entrance that was open and said, "Wait here and let me go find a wheelchair for your wife." Sure enough, in a few minutes, she was back and pushed her into the emergency room door then points to where there is some parking. All of this was very stressful. There I was with my wife needing to be checked by a doctor and along comes this sweet angel NURSE BEVERLY.
