I broke my leg and was in a lot of pain. Beverly was assigned as my primary nurse to help me out. She was wonderful. She was my ray of sunshine that I needed that day! Beverly was warm and friendly and worked to make me as comfortable as possible prior to my surgery. She was very professional and followed through quickly when pain medication was needed. Then I thought, what made Beverly stand out among all of the excellent nurses who were helping me? We laughed together; she held my hand as I cried because my leg pain spiked, and she treated me with dignity at all times. Beverly also made my husband feel comfortable and part of the process of making me as comfortable as possible. As we said goodbye to each other when it was time to wheel me down to the OR, Beverly smiled warmly and wished me the best and we laughed one more time together, a medicine that helps me! This is what made Beverly stand out as an exceptional nurse and person to me that day. You are very fortunate to have her on your staff.
