Beverly made her mark as an excellent team player by making herself available to help the Emergency Room nurses. It was such a busy night everywhere. After helping the nurses in ER, she went to Neuro ICU and made herself willingly and sincerely available to all the nurses. This is remarkable because Bev does not work in these areas. Bev works the night shift in Interventional Radiology. There are many other tasks she could spend a quiet night shift in IR doing, but she chose to put our patients first and to be an exceptional team player with the staff of other departments.
Bev went above and beyond when she decided to get involved in the care of our patients in Neuro ICU. She rounded on each nurse and asked if there was anything she could do to help. As a result, she accompanied several patients who required a nurse to travel with them went to CT. This lightened the work load of the Neuro ICU nurses. Bev willingly gave her time to travel with the patients, not just once, but several times. As always, she made the patients and their family members feel at ease with her therapeutic presence and very calm manner.
Beverly Tate is skillful, compassionate, and knowledgeable and makes a difference in the lives of others.
