Bhawana was nominated by a patient who was heartbroken to miss a son’s graduation. On that day, Bhawana gently woke the patient to watch the graduation ceremony from a computer.

“It was such an important milestone for our family, and not being there in person was hard enough,” said the patient. “Because of her, I was able to watch my son graduate — live. I saw him smile, wave, and celebrate. She didn’t just care for my medical needs—she cared for my heart.”
