What wonderful employees you have in Miss Bianca Hernandez. Each time she entered my room, she came with a smile and bubbly attitude. It was easy to notice that she genuinely loves her job. As I reflect on a week of ICU and open hospital rooms, meeting 40 plus people with shift changes, Miss Hernandez rose to the top as a memorable employee for compassionate care.

She approaches with a caring attitude, asking about what services can be provided to make the stay more comfortable, and she then acts on it in a timely manner. Then she is off to the business of dispensing drugs, attending to my needs, as well as her many other patients. She shared what drugs were prescribed and what they were prescribed for. No one likes being in a hospital, but she goes above and beyond to make it as informative and accommodating as possible.

It can be very scary for a patient, in an unknown place, with severe injury, to comprehend everything that is happening.  Miss Hernandez was very patient with me, checked on me often, and made me feel more secure. I know this is part of the nursing job, but I felt she went, by far, the extra mile. She shows outstanding dedication to patient care.
