My daughter was scheduled to have a mass removed from her back. Bianca called me a few days before to go over questions and instructions before surgery. While much of what we discussed was very routine, she took the time to very patiently answer, and address some specific fears and concerns that my daughter had. She also took the time and initiative to bring up other potential questions that in her experience teens often have prior to going under general anesthesia. This was so helpful! She was very calm, patient, and helpful. She is a huge asset to UCSF in this role!
