Bianca was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient who is deaf, but can read lips. The patient stated Bianca "was very caring and compassionate. She was the one nurse who actually took the time to make sure I understood every word and what was happening."

Bianca was able to joke around with her patient, who enjoyed having her as her nurse. For her compassionate care and "spectacular service", Bianca is honored with the DAISY Award.
