Bianca Rincon, RN, BSN

Blanca Rincon is an amazing nurse. She exemplifies every aspect of a caring nurse. She actively engages with all of her patients with an authentic presence. She has spent well over 45 minutes showering a homeless patient who had not had a shower in well over 2 months. She made sure to get him as clean as possible, having a deep and meaningful conversation with him learning about his life and struggles while covering his skin with lotion and barrier creams. She made a difference in his life that day. She also helps ease the grief and anguish of those dying and the sorrow and fatigue of those frequently caring for them on the unit with her compassionate flute playing, prayers, and kind words.

Blanca can always be counted on for a caring moment or motivation to keep pushing through these difficult times. She has a calming presence and authentic empathy that that helps heal the spiritual wounds as well as the physical. There has never been a kinder person. Bolanca is a true DAISY Nurse.
