I came to the hospital covered in my own filth. I am homeless and those were the only clothes I owned. This nurse was such an angel. He took his time to give me a bath. He told me that he had to throw my clothes away. He later came back, and he had gone out and bought me brand new clothes and new shoes, so I had something new and clean to wear when I left the hospital. He spoke so very kindly to me and didn’t treat me differently because I am homeless. He made me feel like a human again.
